- v0.1 (3 Sep 2026) - First draft for Season 0.
0. The League
The Fireplay League is one season-long ladder. Every registered player is on it from the day they log in. Tournaments (section 3) are team events held during the season.
0.1Who: everyone with a fireplay.gg profile, solo or on a team. There is nothing to enter.
0.2Points are earned for play on the Wrecking Crew servers (kills, being on the winning faction when a match ends, hours played), for verified tournament matches and wins, for official server nights, and for seeding a server. The current weights are published on the League page and can change between seasons, never mid-season except to fix an exploit.
0.3Team score: a team's League score is the sum of its current members' points. A per-member average is also shown. Points belong to the player; if you change teams, your points move with you.
0.4Server play is counted from live server data provided by the game's admin tools, matched to the Steam ID on your profile. It counts from the day that data is available to us; we will announce that day. Play on a Steam account other than the one on your profile earns nothing.
0.5Farming: kills traded with a friendly account, idling on a server for hours, or any play whose purpose is points rather than the match is a conduct breach (6). Referees can remove points and apply penalties.
0.6Server nights and seeding are recorded by admins on the night. If you were there and you're missing, open a ticket within 48 hours.
0.7Season 0 is a four-week test season, 11 September to 9 October 2026. Placings at season end decide the Season 0 prizes and Season 1 seeding. Scoring weights may be tuned during Season 0 with notice in #league-announcements - it is the test season.
1. Eligibility
1.1You must be a member of the Wrecking Crew Discord and logged in to fireplay.gg with that Discord account.
1.2You must be [16] or older.
1.3One account per person. One team per person.
1.4You must own WARDOGS on the Steam account linked to your Fireplay profile, and that Steam ID must be the one you play on. Playing on a different account than the one registered counts as an ineligible player (see 7.4).
1.5Anyone banned from the Wrecking Crew Servers or Discord is ineligible for the League while the ban stands.
2. Teams, rosters and subs
2.1A team is the persistent group you create on fireplay.gg. Up to 50 members, no minimum. At most 33 hold a playing role (captain, co-captain, player) at any time; anyone beyond that joins as a sub until the captain rotates them in. Only playing-role members can be fielded.
2.2A roster is who your team fields in a tournament: up to 33 per match. There is no minimum team size. Teams short of 33 may recruit for a tournament or take placed solos (2.7).
2.3The roster for a match is whoever is on the team at match start. Members added after a match starts cannot play in it.
2.4Subs: anyone on your team can rotate in between matches. There are no mid-match substitutions except for a disconnect (2.6).
2.5Roster lock: teams are locked from [48 hours] before each round. Joins and leaves in that window take effect after the round.
2.6Disconnects: a player who drops may rejoin the same match. A replacement from the roster may join only if the dropped player cannot reconnect within [5] minutes, and only up to the team-size cap.
2.7Solo placements: players placed on a team from the solo pool are full members of that team for the round(s) they were placed for. Captains may keep them afterwards by invitation.
2.8A team that fields fewer than 33 is short-handed. It may play; the result stands. The server's own pre-match minimum player count applies to whether a match starts at all.
2.9Forfeit: a team that is not checked in and present on the server [10] minutes after scheduled start forfeits. A forfeit counts as 3rd place with a zone score of 0.
3. Tournament matches and scoring
3.1Every match is three teams on one locked Wrecking Crew server, one round of [MATCH LENGTH / ZONE CYCLES].
3.2Placement points: 1st = 3, 2nd = 1, 3rd = 0.
3.3Placement is decided by the in-game result. If the game does not declare a clear winner at time-out, placement is by [zone control score], then by [team kills], then by cash earned in the match.
3.4Standings are ordered by points, then total zone score, then head-to-head placement points among tied teams, then a [playoff] if it decides a finals place.
3.5Season 0 format: [N] rounds; each round, every registered team plays one three-team match. Pairings are drawn so that no two teams meet more than [twice] in the season where the numbers allow.
3.6Server, map and settings for each match are set by the League Admin and published with the schedule. Teams do not change settings.
3.7Faction slot: the three teams are assigned to in-game team slots by draw, published with the schedule.
3.8Check-in opens 60 minutes before scheduled start on fireplay.gg. The captain or co-captain checks the team in.
3.9Restarts: the referee may restart a match within the first [5] minutes for a server fault or a game-breaking bug affecting all teams. After that, play on unless the server itself dies (3.10).
3.10Server failure: if the server crashes and the match cannot be resumed, the referee decides: replay in full at a rescheduled time if less than [50%] of match time elapsed, otherwise placements stand as at the crash based on [zone score].
4. Cash and loadout rules (tournaments)
WARDOGS has a persistent per-account cash economy. These rules exist so that a rich account does not decide a tournament match. On the public servers, spend what you like.
4.1Cash cap: tournament matches are played on a server with a maximum player cash set in the server config. The cap for each tournament is published with its schedule. The server enforces it; there is nothing to honour or evidence.
4.2Banned purchases: listed per tournament with the schedule (for example [main battle tanks, attack helicopters]). Using one is a conduct breach (6).
4.3Cash earned in a tournament match is a match statistic and a tiebreaker. It is not a reason to farm rather than play the objective; referees may disregard cash where a team clearly avoided the zone to farm.
4.4Where a tournament server's cash settings cannot be applied (for example a host restart is refused), the referee announces a per-life spend limit before the match and it applies as an honour rule with screenshot evidence.
5. Vehicles
5.1Vehicles are allowed within the loadout cap and the banned list (4.2).
5.2[Per-team vehicle limits - e.g. max X armoured vehicles active at once - set after beta testing.]
5.3Stealing or using another team's abandoned vehicle is legal. Griefing your own team's vehicles is a conduct breach.
5.4Spawn-camping vehicle spawns outside the Control Zone is legal but referees may act on it under 6.3 if it becomes the whole game plan for a team that never contests the zone.
6. Conduct
6.1The Wrecking Crew Servers rules apply in all League matches.
6.2Be decent. Trash talk is fine; harassment, hate speech, threats or targeting someone's identity are not, in game, on Discord or on stream.
6.3Play the match. Deliberately throwing, colluding with another team (including two teams from the same community soft-allying against the third), or stalling to run out the clock are breaches. In a three-team format collusion is the biggest risk to fairness and the referee's judgement on it is final.
6.4Exploits: using known map holes, clipping, invisible walls, glitched weapons or any behaviour the game clearly did not intend is a breach whether or not it is listed here.
6.5Ghosting: relaying information from a stream, spectator view or another team's comms to your team during a match is a breach.
6.6Captains are responsible for their team's conduct. Repeat breaches by a team's members can lead to team penalties.
Penalties, in escalating order and at referee/admin discretion: warning · placement dropped one position · match forfeit · player suspension (rounds or season) · team removal from the season · Wrecking Crew ban.
7. Cheating and evidence
7.1Any third-party software that gives an in-game advantage is cheating. First offence is a permanent League ban and a Wrecking Crew Servers ban. There is no second offence.
7.2A game ban or VAC ban on the registered Steam account is treated as 7.1.
7.3Evidence: every captain submits a match report on fireplay.gg within [12] hours of the match, with 1-3 end-of-match screenshots showing the result screen. A team that doesn't submit accepts the other two reports.
7.4Ineligible player: fielding a player who is not on the roster, not on the registered Steam account, or suspended results in a forfeit for that match.
7.5Recording: for finals and any match a referee designates, each team records at least one first-person POV for the full match and keeps it for 14 days. Referees may request it.
7.6Anti-cheat: the game's own anti-cheat applies. [Note here whatever kernel-level or other requirement the launch build has.]
8. Disputes
8.1Raise disputes in a ticket in the Wrecking Crew Discord within 24 hours of the match, with evidence. Disputes in public channels are ignored.
8.2A referee who was not involved in the match rules on it within [48] hours. Their ruling can be appealed once, to the League Admin, whose decision is final.
8.3Results are provisional until verified on fireplay.gg. Verified results change only through 8.1-8.2.
8.4Referees may not referee a match their own team plays in.
9. Streaming and content
9.1Anyone may stream their own POV in a League match. A stream delay of at least [2] minutes is required to reduce ghosting.
9.2Fireplay may broadcast any League match on Fireplay channels and use match footage, team names and logos in League content. By entering a team you agree to this.
9.3Teams are welcome to make their own content. Please tag @Fireplay_123 so we can share it.
9.4Spectator access, where the game provides it, is for referees and the Fireplay broadcast only.
10. Changes to these rules
10.1Rules change only by version bump, with a changelog entry here and a post in #league-announcements at least [7] days before they apply - except for emergency changes after a game patch, which apply from the next scheduled round and are flagged as such.
10.2Where these rules are silent, referees decide in the spirit of a fair three-team contest, and the ruling gets written into the next version.
10.3Questions about the rules go to #league-questions. Answers given there by a referee or admin count as rulings.

Code of conduct
This applies everywhere the Crew is: the servers, the League, the Discord, streams and this site.
- Be decent. Trash talk is part of a good match. Slurs, threats, harassment and going after someone's identity are not - anywhere, ever.
- Play the objective, play the match. Don't throw, don't collude, don't farm while your team loses the zone.
- No cheating, no exploits. One strike.
- Respect the call. Admin and referee decisions stand on the day. Disagree with evidence, in a ticket.
- Look after new people. Solos get placed on your team - help them settle in. Everyone was new once.
- Captains carry the team. You're responsible for your members' conduct and for submitting honest reports.
Breaches are handled under section 6 of the rulebook and the Wrecking Crew Servers rules.

Deleting your account
Go to your dashboard and choose Delete my account. That files a deletion request; an admin completes it within 7 days. Your name is removed from teams and the leaderboard. Verified match results stay, with your name replaced by "Former member", because they affect other teams' standings.
